Great service; good food. My wife has been craving oxtail stew so we went to check this place out. Be aware, you’ll be looking for street parking but it’s not impossible in this area. The setting is very pleasant, and even better with the staff engagement. The server and owner (?) checked on us several times, making us feel very much welcomed. My mofongo con carne frita was delicious. My wife’s oxtail stew was decent but slightly salty and a bit pricey (only one large oxtail); my son’s El OG was also very good. Large portion with the El OG. Bottom line, I’m down for going back, as the food was good and the service fantastic. I would recommend not getting the oxtail stew though. And one word of caution. There’s a 20% service charge regardless of party size, which I’m not a fan of. But that’s not for discussing here. Just an opinion.

This place is amazing. The food was spectacular both in presentation as well as flavor. The oxtail and kan kan were top notch. They have Medalla and Pitorro. The restaurant has real boricua character. If you miss the island this will give you some comfort!

The whole menu was delicious and the space was lively and fun! We ordered 1/2 dozen oysters, the mofongo camarones, pernil de jaca, and more. The cocktails were fun and all full of ingredients beyond what I stock at home. 4 drinks and a full meal with food to go was $200. I can’t wait to go back!

This a new location and it seems warranted, more room to Kiki about the delicious food. I'm especially a loudmouth when the food is extra good. Started with a Coquito flight, tried all the appetizers and had no room for the entree that served as a wonderful lunch the next day.

The best Puerto Rican food in town! ???????? Honestly, the flavors are even better than some of the tourist spots on the island. The food, ambiance, and staff were all incredible — truly a wonderful experience. Totally recommend it!

Honestly, don’t walk-RUN to eat here! The place makes me smile from the minute I walk in, it truly feels like you are in someone’s home! The food is delicious- it has flavor and you can tell it’s been cooked with love! The octopus was super fresh, the empanada was packed with meat, my OG- was delicious (wish the pork had a bit more juice on the plate) but like the spicy sauce they have on the table took it over the top. I brought my parents and we threw down here. Make the reservation and feel like you are in PR! I truly can’t wait for my next visit!

Excellent plates and good music—as advertised. My table enjoyed the mofongo de camarones and pulpo assado. Fair serving sizes, so we will come back to try the dessert next time. Glad to have a go-to PR spot on the block.
